"I am an absolutely massive fan of Brian. Even before 'You're a Star' because I knew him when he was in the band 24/7. I remember him performing on TX on the Saturday morning. I was so infatuated with him even then and always supported
him. Then I knew him from popstars and I always always liked him. I was gutted when he didn't make the band. I also bought that video because he was in it...lol..:-)... but I was delighted when he made it through into "You're a Star thanks to Louis Walsh, he obviously knows real talent when he sees it! Every single night I followed him... he was such a class singer. I couldn't believe it, he was always getting better. I searched and searched and
he was never on tour. Except on last years `You're a Star` tour so i was really delighted because I thought I'd finally get to see him but then when we arrived on the day the show was cancelled. I was gutted...AGAIN!!!..:-( Brian then went off to Pop Idol in the U.K. I didn't have UTV to watch him on it so I used to babysit at that time and I used to wait up at their house just to watch it and i'd get the results taped. I was so happy he went so far but of course I was gutted... AGAIN when he got voted off. They used to show highlights on channel
4 at half 7 in the morning and I'd get up just to see him and got up even earlier one morning when he was on RISE on channel 4 after he left just to see him! Being so determined to see him I entered a competition to go to Pop Idol in the U.K and I won! I went to the U.K but unfortunately Brian went out before the date arrived and once again I was GUTTED..:-( but I went out anyway and to my upmost and total
delight it was the Christmas epiode so BRIAN came back with all the other contestants to sing their Christmas release which I bought of course. I FINALLY
got to see him. WOW...he can seriously sing...he really
can! I really enjoyed it but unfortunately I couldn't meet him after which was a real
disappointment but i was still glad he was there. I didn't even know he was going to be there until the actual night. If I knew I would of come prepared with a
poster or something but sure I was there to see him!
Another great surprise came when I went on the `Your'e a Star` tour this year because on the night I found out that Brian was going to be hosting it! OH MY GOD! I was ecstatic. He was ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!! He's such a
brilliant presenter and don't even get me started on his singing talent..always and forever...I've just loved Brian singing 'Amazed' and 'Mandy'. He's just class. I finally got a hug and kiss off of him that night but I couldn't see him after as he didn't come out with the others but thankfully he kind of waited after for the fans. He just hung around on stage. My dream finally came true that night. I was so so happy!
